Lately, at dinner time, Zoe has been taking the spoon away from us and insisting she feed herself. We usually give her small bits and pieces of a meat and vegetables of which she eats with her hands. When there is yogurt, or something that needs a utensil, it seems nearly impossible for us to feed her. So she now gets her own spoon and attempts to feed herself. She usually ends up with the handle part going in her mouth and food flying in all directions.
The other day while grabbing some ice cream, Zoe got a kiddie scoop of chocolate and went to town.
I love her so much. She is learning so much and just taking it all in.
